“The Gathering Place”…is home to bustling Honolulu, Waikiki – the most famous beach city in the world…..and the annual ICES Leadership Incentive program. ICES has been coordinating Educational Travel programs in California, Europe and the Hawaiian Islands for over 20 years.
ICES offers a fully escorted Educational Travel Program for Los Angeles area After School programs. Each After School site is encouraged to fundraise, aiming to send a staff member and at least one student.
The annual travel scholarships are awarded (based on the “6 Pillars of Character”) to deserving students who have shown dedication, leadership skills and/or have in any other ways gone the "extra mile" in our After School programs. This is a 5 day action-packed, educational trip, which is a tremendous incentive to staff and students alike. Activities include Polynesian Culture Center,Paradise Cove Luau, Arizona Memorial, Hanauma Bay Snorkeling and various leadership orientated classes.
